Our client is looking to hire an experienced individual to fill the position of a driver and rider.
As a company driver/rider, your primary role will be to deliver orders directly to clients within Nairobi and surrounding areas using company vehicles and motorbikes.

Qualifications:
- Minimum KCSE certificate – ( A Certificate, Diploma or Degree would be an added advantage)
- Valid driver’s license for light vehicle and motorcycle.
- Minimum 2 years proven experience riding motorcycle & driving vehicles.
- Ability to use Google Maps
- Knowledge of Nairobi and its environs and traffic patterns.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Physical fitness (as the job may involve lifting packages).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to self-manage and work under minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages from warehouse. Verify the accuracy of the items received, checking for proper packaging and labeling.
- Route Planning: Plan the most efficient delivery route based on the destination addresses and the order of deliveries.
- Safe Driving: Operate company vehicle and motorcycle in a safe and responsible manner. Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Answer questions & provide information about the delivery
- Package Handling: Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transport.
- Vehicle Care: Perform routine checks on the delivery motorcycle to ensure it is in good working condition and serviced in time.
- Adherence to Company Policies: Follow company policies and procedures related to deliveries, including security protocols and safety guidelines.
- Problem Solving: Handle unexpected situations or challenges that may arise during deliveries, such as difficult-to-find addresses.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to transportation.
- Assist warehouse manager in warehouse duties.
